Jacobus Hendrikus Vuystingh (1881-1957) was a lawyer known for his pro bono work and his animal welfare advocacy. He was a scion of the famous Vuystingh family of Utrecht goldsmiths. 

In 1936 he was painted by Dirk Henri Peereboom Voller, a promising artist and student at the University of Utrecht who would later become mayor or Aalsmeer and Bloemendaal.

Jacobus Hendrikus Vuystingh (1881-1957), and thence passed down to his daughter:

Arnolda Wijnanda Vuystingh (1918-2000) and her husband, the noted chemist David Adriaan ‘Davy’ van Dorp (1915-1995). Thence passed down to their daughter:

Lieuwkje Maria ‘Luuk’ van Dorp (1950-2016).
